Yes, only ask for the GR9A otherwise we will get the one with the worse engine.

any suggestions for CRV7 with tungsten rod ?

Already is one.

Keep an eye for updates on LOSAT , that will be a time to mention it

Now?

Why even have 2 types of slightly different aircraft types of aircraft in stead of just upgrading all current aircraft with the same engine, electronics and systems

I assume the Mk107 engine was a later addition/upgrade (I have no idea when) and as the Harrier was eventually slated to be retired and replaced by the F-35. There was little desire to upgrade the entire fleet of Harrier IIs with the better engine for a relatively short period of time.

I dont know how many were even upgraded, might have just been a limited run to test their performance.

The uprated engine was mostly a thing for middle eastern operations and joint bases with the USMC harriers, otherwise the extra thrust wasn’t really needed, so to save operating costs when the GR7s was in development they decided to have two variants. One with the older engine so the expansive spares of MK105 from operating the GR5s wouldn’t go to waste, and the other with the better MK107.
This was carried forwards with the GR9, however they did make it significantly easier to swap between the MK105 & MK107 in the field, to the point where the only real difference between the GR9 & GR9A was what engines and spares the ground crews could get their hands on more readily.

There is nothing to talk about so we are waiting.

ok

Any word on getting the MAWS changed?

Nothing we know about

Would do you mean by changed? If you’re on about making it 360, the MAWS on the harrier II were rear only.

well they are incorrect in game right now

it’s currently a copy of the F-111 MAWS but from what I gather the two function quite differently, with the F-111’s AN/AAR-32 being IR-based and the GR.7’s ARI 23348/1 using a PD radar?
