The newer Seeker is IIR;

So the seeker should be somewhat better.

???

The G uses a heavy penetrator warhead, whereas the D just uses a shaped charge. The penetrator warhead was specifically made for hitting reinforced targets, like heavily armoured tanks. It uses kinetic energy to penetrate before exploding.

Currently in game, the 65D rarely kills anything heavier than light tanks and spaa. I’m hoping the 65G has better anti-tank capabilities, considering how underwhelming the 65D are modelled.

I mean we’re not losing capability.

the HE-SAP warhead will probably be the most effective out of any AGM-65 due to Overpressure imo.

Btw Gunjob i know this isnt the topic for it but do you know if the new AGM65s will be going to any other aircraft?

Kinda off topic, but since GR7 Is going to’ receive It, can the AV8B+ get It as well? There Is a report on the bug report site currently

Only know of the GR.7 as that report has been progressed, that doesn’t mean it’s the only one just the only one I know of.

Do you mind posting a Statcard image of the AGM-65G aswell?

Interesting they left the 65D. Wasn’t on my list of suggestions but glad to see the 65G anyway.

Thanks.

Why AGM-65D change the location down to hit armored targets ? it’s not guidance CCD like AGM-65H

AGM-65D move back to hit ground targets ?
