I have a ryzen 7 7800x3d and a 4070 super and i remember that some months ago i had 180 fps at max settings and reached 230 with dlss (1440p), then it started to go at 150 fps, i didn’t think about it until now with the ray tracing update, tried it and is unplayable at 40 to 50 fps, even with dlss. So i tested changing settings to see if i could get more fps, but the performance stay the same, so i tested without ray tracing and i can’t get more than 120 fps, even with low settings and even at 720p! There is something broken. Also i remenber clearly that with dlss there was a ghosting effect with fast moving objects, but now there is none, looks like even if dlss is active isn’t working. tried changing the config.blk file in confing.original and now i get 150 fps, but still isn’t right.
Try changing back to DX11
already tried, nothing change. windows game mode is disable, nvidia driver is updated, nvidia settings app too, tested for file integrity on steam and everything is good
Will need full screenshot of your in-game & nvidia settings, I’m on a 4060ti with dlss on and get 300 fps on 1440. Even with multiple applications open in the background.
Quick fix will be lowering some settings until more fixes come out. As there’s a few posts like yours.
i even tried lowering the resolution to 720p and the fps won’t change, tried also the lowest settings and nothing. now i discovered that is the dlss that’s not working cause if i change the antialiasing setting there is no change in fps
