So … backups in battle are bugged or intentional removed ?
It’s a new bug, I’d report it. Annoying, isn’t it?

kinda intentionally removed.
you have to go into modifications and dedicate a backup to a vehicle, they are no longer universal
oh - so how it used to be before the change to make them universal… which was when - 4 or 5 months ago?
I’ve had them work normally in some matches, but then not work in others. It must be some bug causing it to happen.

I got back into the game April 2023 and UBs haven’t changed, so it was before then.
Last night backups were working as normal in naval - could select to field a ship a 2nd time without having to have allocated a backup before the game.
ETA: it was a bug and has been fixed -
