Drawstring rucksacks as seen In-game in the M1A1 Abrams cargo basket (please note these ones are an actual part of the tanks 3-D model)
During the age of modern tanks (1960 and onwards) tank crews have often found it necessary to carry equipment with them during their deployments, from sleeping bags to food, and basic gear. Usually this kind of gear was often carried in large backpacks that were attached to the outside of the tank (usually onto the rear of the turret) in order to keep as much space as possible free on the inside of the tank.
These rucksacks were used extensively in modern conflicts such as Vietnam, Korea, The Gulf War, and even in the conflicts that are taking place today.
While its appearance in-game would likely be quite basic Its ability to be placed in a player chosen spot on a tank would help to break up the off-putting sight of seeing two identical tanks side by side and would help to make them appear more unique and realistic, as well as adding some additional flare to the tank.
