B-52H and Tu-95M should be removed from Naval Battles

Taking into account both the BR change for many post-Second World War aircraft and the changes in bomber mechanics, the presence of the Boeing B-52H ‘Stratofortress’ and Tupolev Tu-95M ‘Bear’ strategic bombers creates a considerable imbalance in both arcade and realistic naval battles.
Despite having restricted the use of several aircraft in naval battles – some of which are even older than the B-52 and the Tu-95 – these two models can still be deployed. This, combined with their recent improvement in durability, poses a major problem, as even at low altitude they are capable of withstanding huge numbers of bullets and even evading missiles fired by missile destroyers such as the Bravy or those of the Charles F Adams class.
I hope that the BR will be adjusted in future updates to 9.3 in naval battles…

Will never happen. Reason, in order for them to stay out of naval, naval will have to stop progression. That will not happen.

All they carry is dumb bombs…
If people can take out bombers at lower BRs, they can take out more advanced dumb bombers with more advanced ships.

he177 is literally more dangerous with fitz x than b52 with just dumb bombs, he’s jumping at ghosts

I am sure I wont have any problem with Braviy to oneshot them if I will aim with missile on fontal part of plane where is pilot.

How does a large bomber out duke a +10.3 BR equivalent SAM/tandem fuse AShM? I mean maybe a Fasta-2M but not something like a 9M33, V-600P, RIM-24A or Nettuno.

Personally I’m more annoyed at the devs for their August BR change for all jet bomber aircraft that went down in BR for GF to 7.3 but they added a last minute addition to the chabge for NF seeing all TT jet bombers & aircraft that carried HC bombs sent up in BR to 9.3, also presented are bombers placed at 9.3 when Separated BR’s became a thing. Meanwhile these two remain comfortably at their respected BR’s.

Still sometimes support ships are needed for a fleet & in WT that’s no difference, if your ship isn’t soviet, british or american, then stick close to those players or bring in other lower BR vessels that can actively fight these bombers without issues, if they’re dodging these missiles (generally shocked if true), then switch to your guns, lock the target by radar & fire HE-VT ammunition at such aircraft or your LAA batteries, many vessels be it from 3.0 - 6.7 BR are fitted with such equipment & weaponry which will make short work of these bomber aircraft (if they can dodge a missile, they’ll surely not be able to dodge a hail of radar guided gunfire).

From observing these aircraft in the past, they often dive in low to hit a target easier, or in rare cases stay high & level but with less accuracy to a turning target. I personally don’t think dumb bomb aircraft are that bad, hell I don’t think guided munitions are either (especially bombs since you basically need to be in AA range already), there’s scarier munitions below this BR even as low as 2.3 BR. A He 111 H-6 & He 177 A-3 & A-5 are capable of using the PC-1400, the He 177 A-5 also has the Hs 293 & the Ki-48-II is able to use the only aerial dropped AShM in game Ki-148… meanwhile we can’t even dropped the bloody 45-54VT anymore (parachute dropped aerial torpedo, Tu-14T)…

Instead of this devs should tune early jets BR down in naval to counter and intercept bombers. And add jet bombers for everyone back.

Current top-tier BBs for some nations are already the BEST ship that was laid down. Progression has already basically stopped.
Even modern ships with heavy ASM won’t be able to inflict reasonable amount of damage to something like Soyuz. Unless Gaijin decides to use nuclear ASMs

You missed, the point of this thread, didn’t you?

The first step is to just buff top tier AA.

HMS Vanguard for example is missing most of her AA ability (like missing radar, and related equipment)

After that’s just add more SAM ships
