For a while now, all of my gunners on the B-26B have not been firing on their own. This is not a huge problem, as I can usually switch to them and deal with the problem myself, but it can sometimes prove to be annoying. I’ve tried toggling gunners, but I’m probably missing something. Any ideas?
AI gunners are kinda just useless, if you look, and i mean actually look, at the range that they fire at, even aced i think they only fire out to (if I’m recalling this correctly) .1 of a mile so, roughly 500ish feet, i learned that the hard way back when i was grinding and spading bombers to get that line of the tech tree done before the F-105D came out, its not a you issue, previously the AI actually had range and was extremely accurate, so that got nerfed, its kinda just something the plague’s the game that being overly accurate AI for the platform its using
the absolute max firing range for AI gunners in realistic is 200m, which is just useless really, and thats with ace crew, without ace or expert its like 150m
in arcade battles its 800m max
