So i don’t see much talk about it but currently it got introduced in basically mangusta+ configuration without new ordinance or systems and labeled “Pre-Series” to explain that.

Other ordinance:

I don’t see much hope with mostly mockups at airshows and also the “preseries” label to get anything new.

LDIRCM:
this was mentioned in suggestion Leonardo AW-249 Fenice - #24 by MightyBaozi and in few news articles. The ones in pictures look suspiciously close to what it looks like in other nations as well as whats currently present on the visual model and while the reports have been denied if someone has hard link between the QUIRIS (ELT/577) system and those blisters, it would be good to either add it or fix visual model to be the “preseries”

it was added in .27 didn’t see, it has no xray or dm yet

And yeah if it doesn’t get IRCM it should be 13.0 like megusta and seraph

oh it literally was added in current .27 i was looking at yesterday and reports, oops

It has same angles as mi28 with broadly similar placement (maybe a little bit better as its the one on raised panel)

It still needs new weaponry (Akeron, fulgur, brimstone and at least spike II) to make it on par with other top tier helis.

with the label preseries and it mostly being brochure/mockups or straight up we laid stuff next to it at an airshow i wouldn’t be confident.

Fulgur is probably the closest to something we can see flying soon-ish (i don’t know how the launchers look) as Italians don’t operate anything else themselves

Did they add ELT/162 RWR and modern MAW? Or is the stuff still the same as on AH-129D?

They modelled all the systems on the actual aircraft, but have just copied all the old stuff.

Also it needs Akeron LP, Brimstones, and Fulgur or I will never stop until it gets those

MAIR is copy paste of AAR-60 MAW
ELT/162 is on both

Without good sources that are not manufacturer just laying stuff next to helicopter because someone might want to pay for its integration its gonna be not possible

Fulgur is your only hope for now

edit: there is report for fz275 Community Bug Reporting System but they are only in HE warheads for germany and not added to other stuff like rooivalk yet

In the past I would agree, but with stuff like KH-38MT and F-15EX I think that current development for integration is enough.

Also I think that brimstone has a little more proof

Good ELT/162 is added, sad MAIR is just copy paste but I would expect that.

We might just have to wait some months for more integration to be done IRL and then finish bug reports then

Also the preserie designation is not an excuse, gaijin does that for literally every Italian vehicle to justify not added features. I mean you have that with the Centauro preserie, the Centauro II preserie (when there are much better production versions of both).

They can’t even get preserie vehicles right, the Ariete (P) is missing forward facing LWR, despite it literally being modelled on the tank
