Avro Vulcan and the V-Bombers

This aircraft, with its iconic “Howl” sound, has been debated for a long time due to various reasons. It is a bomber and was used as a nuclear bomber in real life, though this argument has become obsolete because of the new “Nuclear Thunder” game mode, where it could easily serve as a nuke plane for Great Britain.

Furthermore, there were debates regarding its lack of survivability, but seeing the recent “bomber buffs,” it is fair to say that won’t be as big of an issue anymore (even if it gets nerfed back down a bit, it’s still good because the airframe is so massive). There is also the Chinese “H-6 strategic bomber” that is currently being heavily suggested to the devs. For that reason, I wanted to restart this “Avro Vulcan” debate; it is just such a cool plane that it would be a shame to let it go unseen—and definitely unheard, because of its iconic howl. :D

Going a bit off-topic but not really: concerning the “V-Bombers,” where the Avro Vulcan plays a key role, it is still notable that the other two of the three V-bombers are also extraordinarily cool in their own way. It is a shame to see none of them in the game, which is even more reason why at least one of the three should enter the game.

The names of the three V-Bombers are

The Avro 707 was a prototype plane one-third the scale of the actual Avro Vulcan. It was built and used to test the delta-wing concept, and that is why it is way smaller than the Avro Vulcan.

The V-Bombers were made to fix the problems the Lancaster bomber had and to make a much better bomber. They were also made to hold and carry nuclear bombs, though none were ever dropped in combat—only one for testing was dropped by the Vickers Valiant.

Thanks for reading this! 👀 I hope this gets suggested to the devs in the near future, and Godspeed to the rest of y’all.
