Mea culpa on the thermals, the suggestion said that it WAS possible to fit 3rd gen thermals but it seems the M1A2T prototype was built by converting an M1A2K which is a pretty good reference point on the whole M1A2T digital/analog mix.

It is actually a lot closer to the SEPv2 than what I assumed, but from what I understand, the armor scheme of the M1A2T, while not having DU (hence automatically inferior to US Abrams), should be improved right? The M1A2T largely follows the Saudi Arabian and later Kuwaiti upgrade for their own SEPv2s. Well we dont have any other DU-less M1A2 in the game so comparison is just harder to visualize.

The DU-less armor scheme does give the M1A2T more uniqueness tbf.

It’s meaningless, nothing is refelected in game that would make the A2T any better than the US A2 SEP(v1), meanwhile the SEP v2 is getting more smoke, LWS and recently can uninstall the ARAT if you don’t want the extra weight.

If there’s anything you can compare it too, it’s the Swedes malding over UK getting the JAS39C even though there was no real difference over the 39A at the time, the letter C was enough to trigger ppl.
