Those are internal cannons because if you take SEPR rocket motor, that space is taken by the oxidizer

Wrong, four IR missiles (two Shafrir-2 plus two AIM-9D) and uprated thrust compared to the A-4E (4,516 kgf versus 3,470 kgf). One of the better equipped subsonics in game.

3E has worse flight model since it weighs much more while the new engine provides almost no extra power. If 3C had CM it would be better than 3E. Also the radar is different but in game it makes almost no difference.
I haven’t played as I have no interest in Naval since Gaijin doesn’t wish to develop the mode.
