3E has worse flight model since it weighs much more while the new engine provides almost no extra power. If 3C had CM it would be better than 3E. Also the radar is different but in game it makes almost no difference.
I haven’t played as I have no interest in Naval since Gaijin doesn’t wish to develop the mode.
I didn’t realize naval was the only mode you were allowed to play. Must have not gotten the memo

no clue why that annoying jet is still at 9.3, with flares and high power missiles, its actually stupid.
the ariete just looks like a very sad jet, i always see them get focus by missiles and do nothing whole match haha
Might be the case of Israeli bias.
It’s definitely overtiered. It’s a pretty great dogfighter, and it’s got ridiculous BR raises because it can style on basically everyone else in a dogfight if you let it. The small frame makes it hard to shoot at and it can easily dodge some missiles, but the cannon round count is stupid low and you can only dodge so many things at once.
Well, the A-4 Chassis is very much a brick, especially when loaded with ordinance. Additionally, the missiles it has access to only pull roughly 18G at most, so they’re not as impressive as some folks are trying to imply.
Probably wouldn’t hurt to uptier it to 9.7 to trial how it fares - But keep in mind that 9.3BR is only its ARB rating. For Ground Combined Arms its BR is at 10.0BR.

The problem is that most aircraft don’t have flares in that BR bracket . Good luck notching an AIM-9D in a MiG-15.

Upgraded engine doesn’t make it any less of a brick, and even at 9.3BR there are plenty of aircraft that keep pace with and outrun it.
9D isn’t much different than a 9E in this game, and I’ve seen Mig-15s dodge plenty of 9Es.
Awareness is the first step to avoiding getting shot down, in most circumstances.

Uhhh, I used to regularly pull 5+ kill games with the ariete. That thing can easily dodge missiles and only really struggles with A10, which I handle by just baiting them at long range and outrunning the 9Ls, then moving in for the kill.
Ariet could easily dogfight a euro fighter in my opinion, it is a ce azy plane. Only thing it struggles with is gun authority because either the rudder or ailerons have some trouble at higher speeds, and it compresses pretty fast, otherwise I mean that thing could be 10.7 if it had flares.
Even saggitario 2 is just as good, I recently replayed to get the AP belts when they added them back. Even without the extra engine it’s still pretty fast, but I mean the ariete goes crazy with it’s budget afterburner situation
