Gerpard and XM246 should do the auto Aim calculations by pressing a button that cools down every 30 seconds right now the player locks on to the targets and has to use radar to aim with there own aiming skills XM246 had pro CIWs navel tracking system which did not work super well but Gepards system did these anti airs and other like it should get aim assist and the player just holds down shot now this would be kind of annoying for CAS but CAS at those BR isn’t super weak I am bringing this up because if Gaijin ever adds the Centurion C-RAM or others like it it would just be as bad as the m163 how the tracking is in game(at least give this to top tier C-RAM trucks Gaijin since some people thinks its to “OP” for Gepards and XM246)
as much as I hate CAS with every fiber of my being; I really don’t think giving SPAA auto-aim solves either side’s problems.
well actually console gets auto aim and tracking being able to press A (on Xbox) and find targets everyone else cant see so they already have stuff like this
have you realized that console players get “auto-aim” because their target tracking is inherently dogshit compared to M + K?

no its not you can see im a console player aiming on K + M is harder in every way auto aim does help it makes me able to find targets without seeing them by spamming the A button the locking on to it before my teammates see it and getting the kill this works for long ranges too
control preference =/= the control scheme actually being better
no built in meta tools that gaijin gave us vs PC players who think their aim is good and its not
You know radar control screen exist right? That’s basically auto-aim.

sort of but its just what you see outside it in a smaller screen doesn’t work like it should
trust me guys they need this maybe xm246 and gerpard don’t but they will be useless if not
Radar screen does all that without any cooldowns. And no its not just smaller screen. Tested with xm246, m247, otomatic and it works just fine. Lock target, open radar screen, hold fire button.

You can already do this
Just go into the radar screen, from there you can fire the primary weapon
Both the Stormer AD and Chieftain Marksman can already do this at the very least (only SPAAGs that I have that I can test)
So if its missing from the Gepards and XM246, it needs to be bug reported.
