Thats what i said but they are deadset on this
Italy has gotten a Brazilian aircraft before, but only because its an Italian Export vehicle.
I reckon Brazil would be part of a LATAM tree or Spanish tree
Ah an export makes sense, but yeah LATAM or spanish tree makes more sense.
you all make no sence austria best country

Personally, i don’t think it would be that good of a fit
Besides the lack of any significant connection between them, the overall vehicles Austria has wouldn’t really do much for Sweden in WT
In addition to that, Sweden already has 2 sub-trees + potential 3rd
Finland which has been there quite some time but implementation of their vehicles is rather slow
Norway is quite recent and mostly being aviation focused for the moment as their grounds options are mostly premium
Denmark being a potential 3rd sub since more of their vehicles are slowly being added
I think having any more might be a bit of a stretch and would also drastically slow down implementations of vehicles that these existing sub-trees might have to offer
No it should be in germany.
Eh, I disagree and agree, Austrian air is basically every swedish jet making Sweden more redundant than it already is. Best thing would be to give it the Canada treatment and send its vehicles to the nation that needs them or whoever made them.
I think you’re overthinking the value of Norway and Denmark in this regard yes they should both be TT but we both use near identical equipment and it would take both of our nations to be equivalent to most subtrees in terms of gap fillers. Same with Finland basically filling no gaps.
This type of thinking makes me think barely anyone actually uses their eyes when it comes to the swedish tree and blatantly has no idea what vehicles can come via the trees.
I see the value in some of the things they have
Norway and Denmark both have uniquely modified vehicles that could be added that wouldn’t be found in other TTs, or at least fill in some much needed areas that were somewhat lacking
The point still stands Denmark and Norway alone do not equal the value of variety that other subs do only together do they barely hit the minimum
germany doesnt really need a subtree they have Switzerland which is enough id rather leave space for my unique domestic vehicles than add foreign ones
heres a few of the many unique vehicles

I think that might have more to do with that Sweden isn’t really lacking much in a way, one thing that was a problem was the lack of good top BR SPAA which got fixed by the NASAMS
After that, i’d say the air-tree feels kinda lacking, especially around the middle, which i’d assume both Norway and Denmark would be able to fill out somewhat
But after that, whats the biggest issue?
Heli’s are pretty much dead for all of them, not much that can be done there
Naval probably won’t be coming for a while but it shouldn’t be bad from what i know
I’d mainly be expecting more SPAAs and some unique vehicles in different BRs for ground
What more is needed if we compare it to other TTs?
As i see it, the ones that benefits a lot from sub-trees is Italy and Japan since both their Ground and Air trees felt kinda lacking at the end
I mean we could be ignorant of the numerous gaps in air and say Sweden doesn’t need anything I guess that’s an option
Also I think you’re missing the picture. 4.x Sweden lacks armor and solid TD’s something Finland could add, and 3.x could get a solid sniper with the M10, 4.x also lacks a solid SPAA and same with 3.x and 5.x and I could keep going SPAA wise as Denmark, Norway and Finland provide actual SPAA and not recon vehicles forced into SPAA roles.
Denmark and Norway also help fill the air tree but not as much as most subtrees. Currently Sweden is the worst Rank 5 air nation easy. Norway and Denmark could help a bit but not by much. Denmark could give Sweden a 5.x aircraft which would be the first 5.x aircraft and only one they could get to my knowledge.
Again I can keep going but I’m just gonna say you claiming they are enough tells me you have no idea what they can and can’t do, even with Denmark and Norway and Finland Sweden will lack major areas and be the only nation that can’t have them filled. Something like adding Swedish export vehicles can technically fix this but that’s entering a different subject matter together.
yeah, i’m aware
Added more stuff, also sorry about the late replies I’m a bit preoccupied
Also yeah no, basically just Denmark can add a bit to the midtier that’s it…
Norway and Denmark are like I said required to even meet the bare minimum of a subtree
Also not to be rude but again you’re looking at Sweden like it’s a huge tree which for grind at high tier yeah that’s when most Nordic nations started picking up a lot of ground tech but a lot of vehicle are just kinda fluff, same with the air tree.
You wanna tell me Rank IV and such is packed when it’s basically the same vehicle but now heavier and with rockets all at the same BR wow much variety mhm. Again compared to other trees Sweden lacks variety which every other nation is given except Sweden for air. (Though this is both a vehicle and gaijin problem) Most of us didn’t have the most money entering in the Cold war and gaijin also just has no interest in adding half our stuff because they don’t care, it’s why Sweden is the 2nd nation when it comes to getting the least amount of vehicles every year, 1st is Israel which has the same problem.
I’ve never tought of it as huge tree, not even a big one but in general i prefer it’s set-up a bit more than other trees, such as China and Israel which has less gaps but is heavily reliant on a good chunk of their vehicles that’s either imported or captured, after which they’ll reuse that vehicle but with ERA slappe on
In general i do think air is pretty f’d here, but i’m a bit biased to kinda ignore it since i mainly play ground
But, I also think some other TTs can be a bit boring in this aspect as well, some of them just improving on an existing airframe, which i can see the fun in if someone really likes that specific aircraft, but personally i do get a bit tired of reusing the same airframe but with a better engine and new guns
If there are good sub-tree options out there that could vastly improve the situation, obviously it should be added if there’s some semblance of logic behind it
But as far as i can tell, there isn’t much available
We might have a start by getting more Finnish captured and modified vehicles, but who knows how long that will take
I disagree here I think the austrians should go with Germany and Switzerland as a alpine/German speaking nation especially with Sweden already has the Nordic nations like Norway Finland and possibly Denmark in the future
I see it exactly the same way. The (assumed) reasons why Switzerland is with Germany apply also for our neighbor Austria, with which we also share quite a few military technologies.
Just using the 3 Saab aircraft as argument for Austria to go to Sweden - which we also could call the Scandinavian tree - makes no sense for me.
Might just as well have put Switzerland with USA as we used a fair number of US built aircraft. Or Britain, for that matter, or France (but that one already forms a “geographical block” with it including Netherlands and Belgium).
