That appears to have the 30mm gun pods and the 12.7mm gun pods equipped at the same time along with what ever air to air missile that is. That’s cool.
That manual actually tells us a lot, Mk 82 bombs, CRV7 rockets, assuming it is all applicable to the RNZAF. I will update the specs with this info tomorrow.
I meant to do this a couple weeks ago, but just a tiny little update to the F/A-18F Super Hornet’s specs to now include the AGM-158C LRASM.
My uncle worked on singapore chooks (chinooks) at alambey air base so singapore could be represented in the tech tree?
So basically more copy pastes ? Ngl maybe the low tier vehicles are not that bad, but like the Hungarian tree, top tier is basically just copy paste.
13 indigenous aircraft, 31 locally modified and/or built or specific variants of aircraft, and 39 “copy paste”, the unique outnumbers the copy paste. Or is 44 aircraft you can’t get anywhere else on Earth not worthy of a sub tree?
It’s Amberley, and I think a Pacific Nations tech tree would be neat, but this suggestion was specifically for Australia and New Zealand.
Discovered a rather amusing error this morning as nobody else noticed or pointed it out either. The production model Boomerangs were missing from the tech tree image. I have since added them.
Where would you peg an S-2 Tracker in BR?
https://seapower.navy.gov.au/history/units/grumman-s-2eg-tracker
+1 would be great to have more unique aircraft
I’d have it be a naval spawn in aircraft since it’s got no offensive armamant other than bombs and depth charges and rockets and torpedoes
You mean only playable in the naval game mode?
Premium Mirage III would be nice. I was hoping it would be in the Israeli tree, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. France doesn’t have it either (only the very sad garbage called Milan), but the Mirage III in a fighter version as a premium aircraft would be great.
I know that this aircraft would probably not be added but it’s worth mentioning
There was a proposal for Australia to acquire the SAAB 37 Viggen and even be built domestically if it was accepted into service during the 1970’s to very early 1980’s. This specific variant is designated as the SAAB 37AU/CAC 37AU/CAC 37 A-21. This is no simple copy and paste situation either since this Viggen variant had some unique features that other Viggen’s did not. Mainly the ability to equip BVR missiles (AIM-54) which no other Viggen variant can carry, also would likely use Magic 1’s as it’s main IR Missile, maybe AIM-9L’s (The Viggens used the AIM-9L’s [RB-74]) though it could use AIM-9M’s instead (Australia did use the AIM-9M in operational capacity unlike the L’s), as well as AIM-7’s as it’s main Mid-Range Radar Missile. Would only use Unguided rockets (Mighty Mouse and Zuni’s, possibly m/70’s).
At least one mockup was built (and the manuals for the 37AU apparently are still around)
Here’s what a hypothetical loadout would look like
Is that mockup a literal model, or is it a real Viggen that had the decals and stuff applied?
Also, Australia did use AIM-9Ls operationally.
That’s a model bro. A million miles away from anything solid.
A big no from me as it was simply an idea, nothing more.
Yeah, it’s a neat footnote in history but if it wasn’t a real Viggen we can’t use it in this game.
