Holy crap i just had 2 matches where i can hear and see my gun shoot point blank at a enemy and i still die to them while my round apperently do nothing to them on the second match i had it happaned to 2 rounds back to back its absolutley ridiculous to have a pvp game and not have servers available to everyone to have access to low ping lobbies while us australians are stuck playing at 200 plus bloody ping fix your bloody servers or give us aussies our own servers so we can have a even playing field like everyone else

I’m in New Zealand but I play fairly well at BR 8.0
It’d be nice to get 50 or 100 ping but we’re stuck with 200. This is really bad when there are light armoured vehicles that can aim and shoot very quickly, but there won’t be an Australia server. Every part of the world is near to other continents except NZ and Aus.
Australia and New Zealand only have 30+ million people and not all of them play War Thunder. Europe and North America have hundreds of millions and people in the US can easily use the EU, CIS or Asia server with very little difference.
It’d be nice if games had servers here but having a dedicated piece of hardware in a rack costs at least $10,000 a month. It’s extremely expensive and basically no games have an Australia server. If you ever played another game and got under 100 ping it’s because you’re connecting to another player who acts as the host. It took me forever to work this out, but basically, you need to move to America or Europe lol
There are no dedicated servers in this part of the world and it doesn’t make any sense $$$$ to add them. Most online games only have a server to host the lobby, but everyone is connecting to other players to use as the host. That is even worse in some ways, probably more chance to cheat and also if your home internet craps the bed then it ruins the game for everybody, which is why dedicated servers are better.
Your home internet might be the problem in War Thunder. I get lots of weird rubber-banding and lag issues on both SA and NA servers. My wifi is shared with 10 other people and the router is downstairs so it’s really bad. I’ll never pay for war thunder again because the game feels unbalanced, one team always stomps the other, and my internet SUCKS.
