Good day mates. January 26th is Australia’s national day! This date coincides with the anniversary of the arrival of the First Fleet on the coast of the continent, which proclaimed these lands as the territory of the British Empire. This day is celebrated with concerts, festivals and awards for the year’s most outstanding Australians.

Discounts and the Boomerang Mk.II is available for Golden Eagles!

When: From January 26th (13:00 GMT) until January 29th (13:00 GMT).

Where: Great Britain > Aviation/Army > Premium vehicles.

  • The Boomerang Mk.II is only available to purchase if you already own the Boomerang Mk.I, and the Boomerang Mk.I and A.C.IV are available at a 25% discount!

About this aircraft

The Boomerang Mk.II is an excellent aircraft for ‘turn’ dogfights: although it’s not very fast, in terms of maneuverability, few aircraft at its rank can compete with it. Its 20 mm Hispano cannons have a modest amount of ammo, but its 7.7 mm Browning machine guns have 1,000 rounds of ammunition per barrel. In addition to this, the Boomerang Mk.II can carry 2 x 250 lb bombs for attacking ground targets. Devastating!

About this tank

The A.C.IV features a 76 mm 17-pounder cannon that is capable of firing AP, APC and the great APCBC shell. This coupled with its 48 km/h speed allows it to give good account in battles and take out most opponents, making it a fantastic all-rounder Australian tank!

  • You can complete the task in random battles, except for Enduring Confrontation missions, [Assault] mode and Helicopter PVE battles.

  • You can find the decal in the “Holidays” tab in the Customisation menu.

Nice but why always a day late? are you aware of time zones? (also not the day the first fleet arrived, that was the 18th. 26th was when they moved locations to sydney cove and built the first settlement)

The lovely Boomerang, another full production aircraft hidden exclusively behind the pay wall. Maybe one day the tech tree will get the CA19, very slightly heavier due to its camera mount and of course no premium bonuses. It might even spur Wyvern S1 for the tree,

Ahh the AC IV, reminds me of how people tend to forgot that this tank only existed on paper.

no the one in game existed, its wrongly named. the one in game is a AC3 with modified AC1 turret mounting the 17pdr

You meant this ? Which has a hull mounted MG in the middle and armor sloping angle is less.

It seems the one we have in the game i based on this illustration

Although the hull exists but it is armed with a twenty five pounder gun, not qf-17.

ac4 was never finished. that is the ac3 with ac1 turret in the last picture and it was capable of mounting the 2pdr, 6pdr, 25pdr and the 17pdr.

i did the requirements for the Koala Decal, but its displayed as “Not Available”? Did i get something wrong?

Update: Took 10 minutes for it to appear, everything good now. Love it :D
