For Japan, yes.

Japan needs the support most, and at least 2 members have positive opinions of modern Japan with the rest neutral.

+1 For sure a good addition to the game, especially for the silly Vickers Type E with the 40mm!

I love it! These would all make for great additions to the Japanese tree. There are a few domestic vehicles from the honorable mentions section that I’d like to see incorporated into this project, but otherwise, this is great! +1

+1 definitely!

although just some clarifications/comments

as i recall the “Harimau Hitam” name was never used as the actual tank’s name (usually only used informally and i think for the 2018 prototype), the full name is just “Harimau Medium Tank/Harimau MT

on PINDAD’s website

and for the chi-ha, although the vehicle was quoted to have been used in the defence of surabaya, i dont recall there was any tangible mentions of the 6pounder being put into the tank unfortunately. Additionally i dont think the 6-pounder can even fit in the tank, as the turret of the displayed Chi-Ha is of the older 57mm turret, not the larger 3-man 47mm ShinhoTo (Chi-Ha Kai) turret

Unique subtrees are awesome.

Leopard 2RI is a bit inferior in terms of protection and inferior in terms of electronic and sensors. I suggest the Leo 2RI is placed in the tech tree and the Leo 2SG is foldered inside the Leo 2RI with +0.3-0.7 BR difference

Aside from that, +1, hope the ASEAN sub-tree or tree will arrive

I thought the same, however that is assuming the OQF 6 pounder anti tank cannon. What is more likely, and fits both the turret size and general appearance of the museums mock barrel, is the 6 pounder Hotchkiss naval cannon.
I would also assume the rear turret machine gun might have been removed, however there is no sources on this and for museum display all machine guns were removed regardless.

That being said, sources on it are sparse. The information we have is basically limited to the tank having been upgunned with a 6 pounder and used at the battle of surabaya, and that only from rather limited sources like the museum as well as some blogs from people that visited.

isnt it the other way around with the RI having thee better protection similar to the 2PL but shit electronics and sight systems

Im surprised by the lack of a Badak Skyranger, would be a baller anti-air

ahh i see, well i guess it could be plausible

2SG and 2RI is very similar, but the 2PL is arguably the “worse” variant of the three. 2RI has older sights but can fire DM53 or DM11 and also SHARD in the future. Technically they’re not the same since the 2SG is based on the German Leo2A4, whereas the 2RI is based on the Swiss Pz87 (which in essence is just a license made Leo2A4 with some swiss modifications

why JP tech tree ?

why not just make another tech tree (PAN ASIA) just for some smoll country from asian, i’m sure if all countries are combined it will be enough to be one tech tree itself

Honestly
same opnion as the air tree
Thailand, phillipines and indonesia to japan
Malaysia and singapore to china/UK
Really unpopular opnion, but not everything has to be in japan

I originally thought a joint asia(japan+china+united korea+asean) would be a good idea at one point but i realized that would not work lol

Unfortunately the Badak Skyranger was purely a mockup and cannot be suggested.

+2000, it’s a pity that the PT-91M is supposed to be premium. The suggestion was well written. I love that you can add so many vehicles, although Leopard 2 is unnecessary in my opinion. But that’s just my opinion.
