they couldve gone with line 5 for western tech & line 6 for eastern tech for both MY & ID, lowkey gonna find it jarring if, for instance, the ID Su-27mk turns into the Rafale especially with future stuff that we’re presumably going to get its going to be even worse i feel like

Hawk 209 has the standard Sky Guardian 200 when it could’ve had the SEER RWR instead. Sure only less than half of the hawk 209s are upgraded but its still atleast something different.

I think it’s probably on purpose the one line ending at rank 3 is left empty. Indonesia might get that line in the future and start at rank 4 with some props as well.

Time for some ult history East Japan skins to be made for the market
Kinda, the 871 has been out of production for a while now, the 951 is RR’s replacement, and has been certified in the Hawk 200s since like 2005 or something. Saying that though IIRC HAL/India has a license and contract for 871 parts production and support.
Unfortunately details on whos decided to get the 951 or stuck with the 871 is surprisingly hard to come by.
I dont think it is the 951 then, most sources mention it as the 871 as well as the fact that we brought them well before the early 2000s

The main alt history I’d want is a Thai F/A-18D, hopefully for the market as well. Maybe even make it a USMC camo from one of the former Thai airframes, but I feel like Gaijin wouldn’t want to add that to the market.
Damn, I didn’t know that cancer of a missile (Kh-38MT) would be anywhere beyond Soviet TT.
Not a fan of that tbh because I am against paper’esque muntions in the game in general, regardless of nation of operator.
But still nice to see more representation of ASEAN war machinery in the game. And finally JP TT additions do not consist of boats only, or prototype of the first prototype of the last production series thing

No they don’t. They don’t like captured skins much but there are some in game you can unlock in the Japan tree. I like the paint jobs for Japanese model planes called setting sun as they look cool with all the USA engineering scribbles on them. Hope to see more.

Really hoping theyd use that line as a trainer aircraft line. The Hawks wouldve been perfect there but also the A-4 Skyhawk can be placed in that line and if ever Gaijin adds the T-1 (and a longshot maybe the T-4). It could easily wrap it up with the T-50 in the end (or FA-50M, which is a Block 20 variant).
It also makes sense as that is the actual strike aircraft line.
Hawk 209 (and the 208 that might come) is the most useless plane to Japan TT, great CAS plane but Japan didn’t have 10.3 ground😑
might be worth making a bug report then, even moreso considering it’s a premium

Currently I would call it a commercial mistake, if those vehicle not coming at the next update then why I want to buy a CAS aircraft just for CAS in air rb?
