AS90 - Technical data and discussion

Damn.

Anyway, I hope if the Attacker S.2 would come back on sale, to buy it and getting have a good lineup in 7.0 / 7.3 Silver lion farming. (I’m waiting also the 32pdr Centurion, Battlepass, premium, event or standard tech tree).

Vickers SPG would probably stay 7.0, but I think the AS-90 would be 7.3 by its reload - and maybe the similarity with Type 99 -

Wake me up when they add RO2001

let me refer you to a brilliant suggestion by the wonderful Sebbo_the_Plebbo. Its been passed so hopefully soon

yup yup yup

Smh, The WT is a PG space, you can’t be bringing up the streaker smh /j

I don’t like how heat MLRSes (MLRSi?) are implemented in game, and what are the RO2000s other than CVRTs at home?

I just want more South African vehicles. Gaijin’s been dragging their feet, especially in the plane department. The last South African aircraft was the JAS39C. That was 3 years ago. At least ground gets South African aircraft.

Also want to see the Avon Saber added to the game.
But gaijin keeps expanding the RU TT with new SPAA and planes at BRs they aren’t supposed to be. So a little miffed by it, but oh well, its my fault for being a britain main lol (btw, the G6-52 could fit 7.0/7.3 easily. There’s a version with the Pzh.2000’s gun and assisted loading mechanism pitched to India as well.)

added some more bug reports onto the main post

As the Tiger II player, excitement mutual lol. Can’t wait to show the modern kid that grandpa’s still got it.

Also just realised you were in the Caer on Advance To The Rhine with me a couple days ago, hey buddy! Cool that we met in game 😁

By 1945 standards, I think it still counts as pretty new 😁

Nuke at 8.0 with the old girl, hell yeah.

I find it so humorous to see a player named Caernarvon in an actual Caernarvon lol. Unironically made me smile

Do any of you know if there is maybe a specific reason for this charge bag to be the last one to be used?
Because the charge bag is grouped together with are some of the first ones to be used (outside of the first stage ammo).

It itself is not part of the first stage ammo.

Charge bag in question

Order of which the ammo is consumed by constant firing

the order that ammo is consumed is just really weird with hull stored stuff sticking around until the end.

Id prefer it to be burned through first so that the turret bustle isnt weirdly empty

imagine if the tiger 2 used hull stowage at lower ammo counts than the rear bustle lol it would be so weird

Just did some more testing, and the use order of ammo is interesting to say the least.

It reloads its ready rack with the charges in the hull first (except the single piece of ammo i mentioned before), afterwards it does it with the ones in the turret.

But if you are constantly firing it shoots the ones in the turret first, where it uses the charges in the back of the turret first, then in the front turret, and then the one specific charge i mentioned. After that it uses the rest of the hull charges.

Scenario 1: Shooting the ready rack, and letting it reload in between.

Scenario 2: Constant shooting without letting ready rack reload

Also to note, is that the turret racks does not get restocked like the ready rack does when there is downtime. Meaning you can have some pretty funky ammo layouts in the later parts of the games you play.

Just created an report on the ammo use order. Could you maybe send it along to the devs @Smin1080p_WT?

I know that it is described a bit convoluted, but it is a bit hard to describe.
