Not quite a Meteor look though, looks more like the MRAAM (Long Range AAM) South Africa was developing in the 80s and 90s for the next gen aircraft sometimes called Carver
ye its a bit thicker and has 4 inlets vs the 2 on the meteor
btw there was a seperate but related proposal to mount the ARMIGER seeker (ARAS) onto the meteor to have converted missiles for cheap

+1, but obviously A-200C needs it’s SCALP-EG and I believe the GR.4 can also carry SCALP-EG (different name as Storm Shadow)

this is basically a long range IR guided mach 3 HE rocket.
would be useless against anything other than SPAA and Very LTs

im pretty sure that the IR part of the Taurus is merely for target identification and terrain following not actual lock on since the taurus is a standoff cruise missile. i think it would function similar to the Grom-1 missile where you just select a target point and then launch it. but if they actually made an IR guided version it could be counted as an equivalent
i think it does use its IR seeker at the end phase for target ID and terminal guidance, although its probably not tracking moving targets lol
