I’ve recently acquired the C1 and PSO so I’ve been playing them. I can put up with their not so great performance when they’re without upgrades, even potentially enjoy them, but stock HEAT-FS is absolutely unacceptable for 11.7 tanks. I’ve had instances where I shot tanks dead side-on and the round only killed one crew member. This should change.

For years we say, that giving a stock tank only the Heat-Fs, is too penalizing, but Gaijin unfortunately does not listen to.

At least you’ve got one crew, me hitting the side of a challenger and the bricks completely swallowed my 550mm HEATFS so it receives no critical damage from that hit
Yeah its a well known issue. France, until recently, had 2 Leclercs in rank 7. Both of them are the same BR as the other leclercs (12.0), but thanks to a lack of anything in rank 7 they couldnt be moved up to rank 8 to get the stock APFSDS
Likely going to be the same for italy. The arietes will stay in rank 7 until they add some more rank 7 vehicles. Maybe some Spanish vehicles like the IFVs from the ASCOD project or another Leopard 2A4
Almost like that’s exactly what those bricks are meant to defend against…
I find it okay for tanks at lower BR ranges, but at 11.7 it’s hardly funny lol
