I’d like to raise a balance issue affecting Italy’s top-tier vehicles — specifically the Ariete C1 (11.7), Ariete PSO (11.7), and Ariete AMV (12.3). These vehicles underperform against same-BR opponents and the current differences between variants are not meaningful in gameplay.
- AMV at 12.3
- The AMV (12.3) lacks the survivability, armor, and mobility expected of vehicles at that BR.
- It faces opponents with stronger armor, better protection of ammo/storage, and superior mobility while offering no clear advantage to compensate.
- Shared weaknesses across the Ariete family
- Vulnerable hull and turret front areas; ammo/storage is easy to hit and detonate.
- Mediocre mobility compared to peers at the same BRs.
- No variant offers a distinct, gameplay-relevant role that would justify the BR spread or current placement.
Small, targeted buffs
Improve turret frontal / cheek protection modeling where historically accurate (reduce overexposed or unrealistic weak spots).
Slight mobility tune (engine/powerband modeling) to bring acceleration/handling in line with BR peers.
