Depends on if you think BVVD will change his mind as it was originally stated that Sweden would be a Nordic tree which is why Finland went to Sweden originally.
Also depends on going forward, only a few nations irl use IRIS-T Missiles for their F-16 and Norway and the F-16AM use them alongside a AGM version of the IRIS-T.
It’s pretty likely our F-16 will replace the Norsk models additionally we also fill quite a few gaps that Norway can’t for both air and ground
Hopefully they don’t. Denmark should go to Sweden. Germany can get something else. (Maybe Argentinian F-16 which js mentioned in the topic)

Personally I’m all for Argentina if it doesn’t go anywhere and they are using our F-16s and are going to be upgrading them going forward which means new stuff.
Additionally and idk why nobody else has mentioned it but we weren’t willing allies of Germany during WW2 hell we scuttled and destroyed most of our own navy to slow the Germans while also developing vehicles to fight them. Our vehicles would make no sense to add to Germany as a subtree

Oh trust me the whole Benelux thing is its own can of worms personally I would’ve swapped NL for the Swiss but that ships long since sailed.

Any of next gen IR missile will put any plane that receive them to top tier. Germany does not lack top tier. It lacks 13.7/3 jet. So a F-16 without IRIS-T is need
That’s my point Sweden will lose the Norsk F-16AM which was added to add variety given how small and repetitive Swedens air tree is.
Additionally Sweden can only get vehicles from the mentioned Nordic nations, other nations wouldn’t make sense.
Germany has an argument for Spain, Austria, and Argentina, probably another group but I’m not as familiar outside of those nations

Brother this entire forum discussion for the F16 isn’t new it’s one of quite a few one of which is over 200 replies mentioning how Germany needs all of our vehicles and it’s nearly every other month I’m told I have no right to say where my home belongs and that current alliances are not valid opinions nor is past history.
Additionally I have no interest in having my home ripped apart like Canada or AU and being split between nations.

Besides why add a subnation when we’ve already crossed the line for trial vehicles and things like the Hornet or F15 for Germany since they exist?
And thats the issue. The only two logically choice (besides Poland, but i really want Poland yo be it’s own tree). And even those 2 nation don’t give anything new or good. Spain uses Eurofighter and F-18 (which are already present in Germany tree. As for Austria, they only jse Eurofighter and another aircraft which i forgot the name. Also i really don’t want to fight with Italian mains over who gets the Spanish tree
Thats one way of making American mains mad lol. But i am and always will be against trialed vehicles (but maybe i can ignore this one :D)
No idea where you get this either, but I argued that giving Denmark’s F16 to GER TT makes sense from operational standpoint and would make GER TT complete. No idea with whom you have a beef but that’s not me.
