I mean, simplest thing to do is don’t play it or show interest. Gaijin has a habit of dropping what players don’t have interest in. Just tell em the new game mode will increase the “To Battle” time from seconds to long minutes 😂
Nonetheless, looks entertaining but who knows how successful it will be. Will find out soon enough.
Nah, leave the comment there so the rest of the community can see that their top-tier vehicles they want are gonna get replaced during big promotions by soldier gear.

It’s not the introduction of infantry that worries me, it’s that they may try to force everyone into that mode by simply neglecting GRB the same way they have the assault and heli modes.
If people want to play the mode, that’s fine, as long as they don’t screw over the existing modes. I don’t personally want to have to deal with swarms of suicide drones on top of CAS.

infantry is the next step. it allows for plenty of new vehicles that would be useless in ground rb to now suddenly have major effectiveness. i dont doubt that it will have the same grind mechanics, but its the next big step for this game.
I want to see how it’ll work out honestly. Because we all spawn on vehicles, maybe there will be half foot soldiers, half vehicles spawning in? Curious fr.
honestly I’ll probably just participate in the CBT if I get accepted and then never play it again or just very few and far between. To me as long as its a separate game mode from GRB and GSB (From the sounds of it it will) I don’t really care, but to me they need to stop doing other crap that no one cares about and fix the stuff that needs fixed. But that requires to much effort apparently :b

Sturmtiger doesn’t need infantry to work.
PETARD doesn’t need infantry to work.
AVRE vehicles don’t need infantry to work.
F4 PHANTOM and other planes don’t need infantry to work.
ALL THE VEHICLES IN THE GAME don’t need a new infantry game mode to function, bro.
You just control them and are happy, well, in a few cases you’re happy playing with the ones mentioned above. But they don’t need infantry for new vehicles in this style or other possible tech to work.
Wanna launch a kamikaze drone? Launch it from your light tank through the commander’s hatch.
See? No need for 40 GB for that :)

strawman logic, casually misses my entire point.
IFV"s will become extremely fundamental and will influence matches at the same level if not MORE than MBT’s. that is the complete opposite of ground rb rn
look at things like the early marder, its entire philosophy is infantry support. it will be great at the infantry mode while in ground rb it gets stuck at a real low br because its basically trash

If they are smart/realistic about it, you will have to spawn an IFV to be able to dismount and play as the infantry. Tankers make very poor grunts.

I played Enlisted a lot and I can tell you that vehicle system in it is somehow good.
If your tank in Enlisted gets damaged, some repairs can be done from inside, but others have to be done from outside, so you have to get out of your tank and risk getting killed just to repair a track or something. Meanwhile in WT you will most likely have to hold down a button to start repairing and tank will be repaired in a few seconds without any other interaction
Next thing are bots in your squad.
I always stick to the lower limit of units I have in my group because they run around like headless chickens, sometimes they just shoot through the bushes without any los and kill enemy players, which also isn’t fair, and for some reason lost bots count towards your K/D ratio.
Believe me, it’s easier to destroy tank by playing as a single soldier because it’s harder for tank to spot you
Another thing is that, usually different companies compete for same player but now we have situation where two games that belong to the same owner will compete for same player
reading the cbt announcement is very important in the subject of talking about the mode lol
