Are there ways to get OpenTrack or any kind of head tracking work on macOS?

Hi, I’ve recently decided to try get into simulator mode (already identified what stick I would buy), and, since I can’t afford VR, I would like to be able to use some form of head tracking.

The first thing I did was try this macOS build of open track which works for x-plane, but war thunder can’t recognise any of the outputs that I managed to get working.
I’ve managed to get head tracking on a windows virtual machine using free track 2.0 output but performance obviously isn’t optimal.

Also tried to run the windows version of warthunder and opentrack through crossover with GPTK (this time with fairly good performance), and I’ve managed to get everything working… the problem is that, while the performance is pretty good, the game crashes fairly often (basically after a match or TestFlight finishes and I return to the hangar there’s a 75% chance warthunder goes full black and needs to quit), so it’s not ideal

I have tried and came across the same problem with the macOS opentrack build. I couldn’t get it to work so I have just set aside my dream of playing sim for now I guess until there is a suitable solution.

Same… I’ve managed to get decent consistency with crossover tweaking some settings but dreams got shattered after realising that sim air requires easy anti cheat, which obviously does not work with crossover
