Today I finished grinding France’s air tree up to rank 4 entirely, and I’m not sure wether I should keep grinding higher ranks or switch to another nation and grind its low ranks as well. What do you guys think?

Try give rank 5 a go and see how you feel.
If you want helis or more cold war, go up
If you want to play more ww2 try a new tree
You could even try a new branch altogether
I personally grab a few jets or cold war ground stuff before switching

So you have all planes, tanks, coastals and ships up to rank 4 in France?
Nah only planes, I only play air atm

for france? not really but the rafale is very good, you have the indian air force specification rafale in that tree so just watch out for Chinese jets.

If you play GRB or any naval, you can use your french planes as well.
Do what you want, just have fun
As a coastal player (Germany and UK) the french coastal seems quite strong, especially the Amiens (if you can grind the BP) and the Aconit.
