Anybody got any starter tips for the mig-21smt?

I just got the MIG-21 SMT like a couple of hours ago, and my performance is just to say the least lackluster. I’m having a very hard time using the GSh-23 and i don’t know any marginally good tactics for it. If any veterans of the MIG-21 SMT can share some tips for having at least a small amount of fun while trying to spade it would be appreciated.

I don’t have a lot of time in the MIG-21SMT but i have it spaded. You can try to use the R3R’s in a down tier until you unlock the R60’s. From then on it is all about positioning
