Something that I do and helps me:
When I unlock new BR vehicles, I don’t play them right away, for example, when I unlocked the Leopard 1 in Germany, I still would play more BR 5 and 6 than 7 and 8 or 9.
I guess you have to make sure you aced your older vehicles before going up, I personally prefer to spade my vehicles before moving a BR up.
“The first in get mowed down, the last in get picked off”… good advice all round!
I would add as well that the 8.0 Germanys tanks are a drastic change from their WW2 tanks, you need to play more like the TD line (the sturer emil and Nashorn ones, not the Stugs etc) rather than the tigers and panthers, you need to set up shots with minimal chance of return fire, get your kill, then move.
Normally I play in a more supporting role but other times I’m an aggressor/aggressive playstyle my advice is to use some of the basic stuff you learned in whatever gamemode you played previously I’m going to guess Arcade.
Try to use that knowledge in RB. Such as learning weak points, and envisioning in your head the green, yellow, and red markers. Never over-extend unless you are sure however no one is perfect so you might do it without realizing it. However, do it sparingly. Binoculars are going to be your best friend in RB or even Sim.
Otherwise, try to better understand the maps even if their geometry and layout are questionable.
I have only played RB. I don’t like arcade. It’s really faced paced and the reticle doesn’t work correctly.
No.
(wrong person)
Honestly if you’re in Cold War era already you’re a decent player.
Your problem is the teams are selfish, and no one is about to support you. If you’re struggling, you’re better off getting in squad with a friend or comrade rather than dealing with 15 independent knuckleheaded knuckledraggers all seeking to derp or faceplant enemies in spawn.
Take your time and utilize the binoculars or commander’s sights. Consider flanking if possible, as tanks that aren’t directly facing you tend to be more vulnerable. You can often eliminate 2 or 3 opponents before they realize what’s happening.
Im not going back down to rank 2. Period! Perhaps stop being a tryhard.
Play with other people with voice comms is the most effective tool on top of map knowledge and recognizing tanks. Playing in a squad where you have voice communication will cause your kill count to skyrocket. Having an extra set of eyes to cover a flank spot targets coordinate, it really makes all the difference in the world.
thats why we need an additional skillbased matchmaking within the BR.
well some maps doesn’t appear in higher ranks and other maps doesn’t appear on low tier, therefore some maps can’t be learned on low tier.
But by then you will have learned how to “read” the maps and how to play them.
Yes kinda of. But the exact snipersspots you can’t really tell unless you have been killed from those.
The WT “suffer curve” never changes.
No.
Nicest way im going to say it.
Nyet.
