At least magic 2s are decent. but yeah. OP has mirage 3 which is said to be somewhat good
otherwise I’d just tailsman the f 104g for bombing, which is what I’m planning to do on the sales.
Yeah I find the F1C surprisingly good at its BR. It can defend fairly well against mig23 players by bleeding their speed. My main complain is the lack of thrust, and I do prefer the F1CT simply because of its far better RWR. I can’t imagine it being able to do anything against an F18 with better FM, better kit… when it’s already outclassed by f16s tho.
I really wished we got a newer premium, like an early Mirage 2000, or a modernized F1 (like the morrocan one, with slightly better thrust and MICAs, or the prototype F1 with Mirage 2000 engine)
F1C is indeed perfectly fine at 12.0, lowering it would instantly make it overperform, sadly the good ol premium blackhole adds yet another poor jet to its tally, hopefully in a month the horde fades away because i really like flying the F1C 200 :C
i actually havent had much trouble with f16s, feels like very few people know how to fly it, they keep going vertical, dump all their speed and i one circle them and pop their cockpit open with defas, but the f18 and its fuckarse AoA switch is actually painful because its always looking at you and always has an aspect, its genuinely a pain in the ass.

But the experience of flying Jaguar IS when it was heavily overtired (when F1C/F-4S were 11.3 while Jaguar IS were 11.0) shunned me enough to not fly F1C.
Quite an awful experience of playing ‘IRCCM carrier which has terrible FM’.
Especially with ‘older’ F1C, which has worse RWR and needs to unlock Magic 2 in tier 4 modification.
At least newer F1CT has a better top-notch level of RWR and stock Magic 2, right?

yeah it does, its still going to face the f18 horde, just avoid for now. Give it a month, maybe two to be safe.
And honestly? An RWR at this BR is kind of useless in most situations, you also lose a gun on the F1CT, which kinda blows, because two defas is actually damn useful at 12.0!
In fact, what I was focusing on F1CT was ‘stock Magic 2’ option. XD
I had no problem when I was flew with Mirage 5F because it had Magic 1 at beginning unlike IIIC did.
Yeah, it was also a bad moment for Jaguar IS compared to other Jaguars.
Dismounting 1x ADEN to move the targeting pod was disappointing. :P
you know its funny because when i got the mirage 3C i actually managed to get a decent amount of kills with the 9bs by flying like an absolute RAT lord.
Respect for flying the Jaguar in ARB too, i cant imagine how painful that was T_T
Thé jaguar does have a very large amount of flare and chaff, which is very useful.
You are very dependent on having a good team, which is the hardest part I’d say. You can’t 1v1 anything, but you can actively change the course of a 2v2 if you play with a teammate for exemple with the pretty good AOA and magic 1 to get on a missile aspect of one enemy and finish in a 2v1
