All of the presented images are aircraft that have already been discussed and considered by gaijin and community.
They are only there to pose as an example of the type of aircraft the topic is about.
XB-70 would be cool to see if they ever figure out how to add strategic bombers
Idrk the modernity of it, but the F-16XL is kinda just the AmeriRafale - Canards
The only other modern DeltaNard design I can think of would be the NGAD which is literally just a stealth Draken
Past that it would be the okder stuff, like the F-106 (which would be cool, I forget which of the two carried the AIM-4, the precursor to the Phoenix)
America doesn’t really utilize Deltanards primarily because we don’t need the scramble time and the conventional design is significantly better for stealth and multirole
F-106 carried 4x Falcons and either a Genie or an M61 w/600-something rds.
Nope as far as I know, those are the only ones that are actually considered 100% delta wing aircraft because the stealth bombers and such are flying wings
That’s kinda it in terms of US delta aircraft.
Though there’s also the F-21 Kfir used for OPFOR
as well as captured MiG-21s (which should not be added)
And the YB-35 and YB-49 if you expand the list to flying wings

That opfor kfir would be interesting as a premium
Imagine the US gets a mig 21 with aim 9 g lol
The poor B-58 Hustler, once again forgotten.
The only other modern DeltaNard design I can think of would be the NGAD which is literally just a stealth Draken
nobody knows what NGAD looks like. Anything you see is either a clever photoshop or an artist’s rendition.
the conventional design is significantly better for stealth and multirole
???
Canards do not have significant impact on RCS compared to conventional elevators, nor do canards magically make an aircraft worse at multirole.
Not sure exactly how "modern you want, but post WW2 Deltas:
B-58A Hustler
XF-92
F2Y Sea Dart

F5D Skylancer
And just because its funny:
XFY Pogo
Sould i make a new topic for that, or just edit this one
