Any idea whether the SB and RB have different seekers on ARMs?
Locked tracks seem much more stable in RB than in SB. Is that a feature, or a bug?

They are the same. The problem is probably that there’s a higher density of similar radars in RB than in SB, so you have to get closer before it stabilizes.

Tried in test flight Western Europe map and in RB, 88C’s locks ADATS and Gepard separately, is rock stable and missiles hit each its own target, steadily.
In SB, though, when attempt to lock ADATS or Gepard, even with the ESM filter on, ADATS locks more or less stable, but still tries to switch to Gepard, but Gepard’s lock permanently tries to switch to ADATS, in spite it’s filtered out and doesn’t even show on ESM.

EDIT: apparently it’s a known bug in SB, dating back to DEV…

Which planes can irl carry Kh-25MPU? This missile is quite necessary as it is the only ARM for the USSR that can deal with the ItO 90 in Nuclear Escalation event.

?

one of the KH31s can see ITO search radar

Except Crotale’s radar only becomes active within the minimum range of the weapon. Loosing it at that point will not result in a hit.

Do the ARM missiles not properly fall back to IOG?
Sometimes when the missiles are flying without a signal they almost seem to just not even use IOG and just fall to the ground in testing

From memory they said that it would not return to IoG after losing track early on, do not know if they reverted that daft decision.

Larger scan zone, but same old scan rate, yeah…
Is there any info regarding refresh rate of HTS?

Not the kh31pd

guys, any reason why Su-25T cant bring the ARM version of KH-25?( or even Su-25SM3?)

Because it’s not in it’s loadout

There’s a case to be made for incompatibility. It is unfortunately difficult to prove one way or the other.

it can

tbf it cannot see the tracking radar, which shouldnt really matter (besides nuclear escelation bc they dont use their search radars there)

Can detect it. Can’t engage it. Search radar’s only active when firing, only fires well within the minimum range.

except its active when firing at anyone not just you

Because we’re definitely provided with the necessary information and tools to coordinate such sorties.
