Now that’s quite sobering: ESM screen is not available for all ARM carriers, so in SIM you’ll still be completely blind as to where you aim and what you fire at…
And furthermore I have found that in Sim the ESM is bugged: The scan flickers and it doesn’t lock the target you selected, but another one arbitrarily.

That “many ARM’s” has to be looked at from a bit of a perspective: Apart from the Kh-31PD they are mostly narrow-band. Western countries have just as many wide-band ARM’s, if not more.
Speed is on the side of the Kh-31 however, of course.
Speed and range. Ofc its is. They will clap us from the other side of the map with sustainable mach 4 or whatever.
While AGM88 will most likely lack the speed to be used at range. Will be most likely very easy to intercept them as well.
Except US has pretty much a single one.
Kh-25, Kh-27, Kh-31, Kh-58 as 4 completely different ARM missiles. With each having multiple ARM variants compared to just AGM-88 and AGM-122 which is literally an AIM-9C for US.
Russia also gets full size ARM at a much lower BR than the US does

Is there any reason why su25t cant get kh25mpu? Feels bit pay to win’ey considering those missiles are available on paid su39 and can further expand array of available bands.
Su-25t never use it, you need su-25tm

or is it not a bug, but a shadow nerf?
So… Going to actually add anything to use either ARM or ESM against in ARB or ASB?
Or is this once again a mechanic added purely for GRB?
