Hi folks!
I have tried out the AGM-88 in test flight, but have not been able to figure out how they work.
I mean I can get them to search and fire - but I have no wy to know what target the missile is actuallyaiming for…
Does anybody know how this works?
I dont know about AGM-88 but ALARM:
So I dont know if AGM-88 is the same. Was pretty trivial in NT event
when using the missile it should show what its locked onto before you launch it and it puts a smaller box around the target heres an image for example
But how about Sim, where you don’t have external view?
WIP, IRL for example the F16 gets very detailed HAD screen (HARM attack display) also you get HTS which allows for 2D orientation and desigantion of emitters. I suspect other nations do the same, the Su-25T targets ARMs through hud aiming, the F18 can handoff targets straight from the RWR.
just tested it some aircraft do at the moment but not all the su30sm didnt but the su25sm3 does as can be seen in the image
