I keep getting kicked by anti-cheat at random, and it has been happening for a while now. I have nothing 3rd party interacting with War Thunder, the only exception being Nvidia settings (extremely unlikely that is the cause, especially since it was done years ago). Once it happens it keeps happening, without fail. Restarting the PC or sometimes verifying files is a temporary fix, but it ends up happening again eventually. Today after verifying and re-installing BattlEye, it ended up happening again the same day after a couple of games. Sometimes, trying to close the game after this causes it to be impossible to truly close because “aces.exe” doesn’t respond to even task manager. It’ll say “access denied”, which is impossible to fix even with admin console unless I restart the PC. When it does let me close it though, often needing task manager (if it doesn’t deny like previously mentioned), the launcher almost always crashes on the following startup. It usually works after that first crash, but the anti-cheat issue typically doesn’t temporarily stop until verification or PC restart. My game sometimes has texture mishaps on certain tanks too, but other than all of that my gameplay is fine. Is there any permanent fix to any of this?

Have you got antivirus on your machine and if so have you made an exception for the game folder?
Also check where you have the game installed isn’t in a folder that OneDrive will try to sync, I’ve come across someone who had that going on.

Other than the usual windows defender and security stuff, no. As for onedrive, I don’t use it and it’s full so I doubt it’s trying to sync.

Verify maybe where your game is installed then, some of the most recent installs have been ending up in the %appdata% folder, but I myself always point it to a folder on a second drive from my OS.

Well, when I say verify, I am referring to the steam “verify files”. The tricky part about all this is that it’s pretty difficult to tell if any solution actually works, since anti-cheat seems to strike at random after it stops.

I believe I’m dealing with the same exact thing except I just signed on and my account is PERMANENTLY BANNED!? I need some help asap from anyone please

A possible thing to try is turn off the steam overlay for the game in the steam options, as well as if you run discord, do the same there.
Steam is horrid to me, as you are doing it right, by verifying in the library, but the launcher verify files is the ‘usual’ way people expect it to do.
Another is that I make steamlibrarys on all my drives, and make the main second drive a default.

I had a few alerts that I should update the security on my account to which I did roughly a week ago and I just signed on to find my account PERMANENTLY BANNED for unsporting behavior 3.2.3? I don’t even type or anything and I play on Xbox???… anybody please help
Check the most recent fair play list if it’s still about, but I think if you’ve been tagged for that, you’re over.
I’ll do that, also using the War Thunder launcher now (though the download is still from steam, the WT launcher at least acknowledges when the game crashes)
Security update and getting banned sounds like you may have gotten hacked by a cheater, but that almost sounds too simple to be right
I genuinely believe you are correct of some sort, I have no possible way of cheating through Xbox and cannot even type so I am definitely not cheating or being unsportsmanlike, and to not even receive a warning just a straight permanent ban! What do I even do???
Hit up support, but as I say, that message seems to mean it’s a permanent situation. Did you leave your live login logged in on another machine at all?

I’m having an extremely tough time contacting support this is as far as I’ve come, where can I get the best support for this situation? I didn’t even do anything I can assure you that, there’s got to be a way to get my account back…
They may take time to respond, avoid bumping the ticket as it will put your further down the queue.
