A couple of days ago I noticed that my chat started having a massive issue. When I press tab to switch from team chat to all chat, it just opens the stats menu, and I don’t have my stats menu bound to tab. When I press shift to add some kind of punctuation, the chat just closes. When I press alt to do emoticons, the chat just closes. Its really annoying seeing as I cannot communicate basically at all. Anyone else having a similar issue or is it just me?

I can confirm that i have the same issue, it only happens when in a plane or a helicopter. I opend a bugreport and am glad its not just an issue from my setup.

I found a solution, deleting the cache did resolve the issue on my side. Hope it helps for you as well

I worked around mine, after finding this issue:
Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle, the pinky/light 3-position switch on the left
if it is in the “back position” the chat will close on pressin shift, alt, tab or Caps-lock.
if it is in the middle or forward position, all works good."
