I agree with removing these vehicles for entry level players. But afterwhile these vehicles should become available to players after they reach a certain point.
Either make them available upon the player reaching level 100 on the profile or make it so when reaching the top tier research bonus aircraft in that tech tree you unlock the removed vehicles so you can go back and research them in that tree.
Remove them is you want, but make it so theyre available to players who put the effort to grind for them if they want to.
Why can’t we also extend the benefit of lower entry standards to the R2Y2s? There are plenty of constraints as it is with regards to classified documents for many top tier vehicles. There are already plenty of ways in which vehicles are getting added without testing/documentation.
The Kronshtadt aside, what are gaijin’s sources for the penetration of the XM885 round? What are the values for the inputs for the penetration calculator that Gaijin is using? I have not been able to find anything on them other than that they should be as good as M774 which has significantly higher pen.
We can go through this all day long. I just think it’s a bad idea to set these arbitrary standards for removal because you open the door to a plethora of issues with other vehicles. You don’t have to allow paper vehicles when considering their entry, but you should allow them if you have already given them out to players.
i believe to remove tanks that you have already in the game … is not fixing anything…
we can have them back and the german line up that removed as well. that will make more people engage to play the game. as well if you remove the fake ones you have to remove and the 20% of the soviet tanks…is not fair for anyone to remove things…
Can we stop labeling Soviet tanks as fake? To my knowledge all of the vehicles in the Russian ground tree were built in some capacity, so it’s a completely null argument unless you can actually provide some examples of what you mean.
just keep them in the game and focus on fixing the glaring bugs and issues the game has please (for example ghostshells, rubberbanding and invisible tanks),

Finally!!! Was waiting several years by now. Enough players had the chance to get to them as it was several times communicated that they would get removed, and there is now still time to remove them.

Zero need for this when so much of the game is fake already. This is doing something for the sake of doing something and nothing more. Do better please gaijin.
Terrible decision. It is absolutely fine not adding any more vehicles that cross the line of fake for yourselves, but removing players access to vehicles that they could have researched is not a good way of dealing with the situation. Leave them in, and just dont add any more.
Its 2025 and you guys are still gate keeping vehicles from new players. Absolutely piss decision. Especially with all the back lash you get for not bringing back the 3 removed german tanks.
Fake vehicles MUST be removed entirely, just giving players proper compensation (free RP, silver, squadron points or golden eagles wasted on certain vehicles). R2Y2, Tiger 10,5cm, Panther 2, Ho-Ri Prot. and Prod., and I heard some German SPAA are fake too.
And Gaijin still didn’t remove TOG 2’s Great War mod, completely ahistorical. And Santal still doesn’t feature 6x6 wheelbase
And who knows what else
