If you take research about the removed german vehicles u will be realize only Coelian , Tiger II H (10,5 cm)made from wood mock up.(But tiger ii H already exist so his 10,5 cm gun equiped variant use a same hull. Like many OBJ tank or even OSTWIND II and his premium variant(which never exists.))
-Maus already in factory product and Soviet army captured his ready/self destroyed examples. It proofed with many variety of picture which made by the soviet army.
Panther II captured by the US forces and its hull currently exhibited in museum with a Panther G turret and gun. Variety of sources also mentioned the schmalturm turret production plan and his ready prototypes.

So based on Vehicle experience the true remove reason is:
-Coelian: That was the only armored/heavy armored SPAA and fighters can’t eliminated his. also clear the sky from CAS.
-Tiger II H 10,5cm: Tiger 2 with more power ful gun , not fit that concept.
-Maus: In 2019 they not able to balance it. When it fight in highter BR it was a cancer, when it fight his own BR and against lower BR it’s immortal.
-Panther II : This tank need to know how to handle it because it explode from one shot, but in RB it too OP if use an experienced hand…
…but easy to blame it ‘they removed because they never existed’…

Firsly Panther II HULL exist and as i mentined it in exibition in US military museum. ( General George Patton Museum of Leadership - Wikipedia)How ever not completed sources mention it will fit with schmalturm turrent which also completed. Based on main gun we not sure which was it equiped the 75mm kwk 42 or 88mm kwk 43 so if it as a fictional BS based on captured materials by US, how it become fake?
Why the Ho-RI Production and Prototype exist in game based on blueprints while the sources mentined only his gun tested and completed? If they able to still in game because one of his part ready why panther II removed while it’s half ready?

In Maus case in first case why it removed they it was a same reason. Later Changed the description and said: ‘can’t balance…’… after they got data. But now after lot of arty and tech tree organization Maus balanced but it never will return because t officially re entered the tech tree research part never be happen…
The Ho-Ri “Prototype” is mainly based on a small scale mockup due to old confusion of what the final Ho-Ri looked like. It is basically an example of Gaijin misinterpreting what it would’ve been, with information now showing the real Ho-Ri having a much different design.
The Ho-Ri “Production” is a pure fabrication intentionally made to fill the top tier at the time.
Ho-Ri itself isn’t fake, with multiple 50% complete hulls and completed cannon it’s absolutely a fair addition, bit what’s in game is inaccurate (and intentionally made up in the Production’s case).
Panther II from what I recall is similar, where a Panther II was real, but unrelated to both the Schmalturm, and Schmalturm 88 concepts.
There is none. Gaijin is using subjective judgement individually, and I personally really don’t like it.
But there is an amazing set of rules for suggestions that’s very clear, easy and fair. I really hope this can be applied universally to the game someday.

I had some RP in the R2Y2 V3, but was researching the Alpha Jet at the time.
After the countdown I switched to research the V3, but then back to research the Alpha Jet and the V3 disappeared.
I had 314 RP in the V3 already.
Similar thing has happened to me. I had researched all three r2y2s completely but not yet purchased them as I was waiting for the silver lion discount but now they are all gone.
