“the R2Y2 series is that they would be removed when functional replacements became available.”
The status quo is not good enough.
The replacement should be from Japanese aircraft, not Thailand.
There’s still work to be done, so why not do it?
For example, you can add the Ki-201“Karyu”(火龍) as a fighter, and change the Kikka(橘花) into an attacker.
When will the issue of the missing bombs on the Ki-102 Otsu, a mass-produced Japanese ground-attack aircraft from WW2, be fixed? If the R2Y2 is being removed from the game for the sake of historical accuracy, shouldn’t the historical inaccuracy of the Ki-102 Otsu also be addressed at the same time? The Ki-102 Otsu was introduced to the game earlier than the R2Y2, in Update 1.35 back in 2013, yet the issue of its missing bombs remains unresolved, limiting its functionality as a CAS aircraft.
In World of Warplanes, the Ki-102 Otsu can carry two 250 kg bombs.
It is sad to see that the Japanese CAS line is being stolen. Ki-102 Otsu and Ki-109 are not historical. No other new CAS planes are being added, and now there will be even fewer unique planes.
First of all, it’s not my list, but I have permission to use it. Secondly, adding these bombs doesn’t change anything for now.
If I were making this list, it would be longer. But I can’t rate Br for vehicles.
