After researching the AMX I noticed that the Vulcan fire rate is listed as 6000RPM. All information available on the AMX suggests that the M-61A-1 is dialed down to the lower rate of 4000RPM. Information from General Dynamics, the producer of the Vulcan, says that there are two rates of fire. 6000 and 4000 RPM. All the gun specs are on the GD website. The specs on the AMX are listed all over the place.
