Is it just me or the AMRAAMs started to miss the most basic shoots
Fire at someone head on they move a bit and the AIM-120 stops tracking. They turn their back on you and the 120 goes to space like the sparrow used to do (and maybe still does?)
Seemed to me that the AIM-120 has started to have tracking issues after the update.

It’s also useless if the target even thinks about notching.
Don’t even need to chaff it will just miss.

The R-77-1 doesn’t seem to have that problem and it seems to be much deadlier in WVR (which was expected) and BVR. Also on the deck. AMRAAMs are much easier to foul with multipathing than the R-77

in addition to the iffy tracking they dont feel like they pull much off the rails making them very bad for close range shots. It honestly at times feels like sparrows are better for some of those

Even the sparrows get spoofed much harder
Ive not seen aim 120s do well for a bit now. meanwhile a R24R will snipe me from 20km away out of nowhere while I’m notching and spamming chaff. suspicious
yeah for some reason its pretty much impossible to notch R24 or R27
so I’m not the only one
Yea. Radars are acting weird right now but the R-77 and the -1 don’t seem to have any problems
