The American made SB2C-5 is already found in game in both the French and Japanese air trees. It’s also being added to the Israeli tree under Greece this update. However, it still is not in the US tree, even though it was made for the USN as an upgrade over the SB2C-4. Here is picture of SB2C-5 with American markings:
Because they’re probably isn’t a sufficient br gap to justify adding it, especially if it’s the same br as SB2C-4 and many other planes in the US tree.
It’s probably because the Dash 5 is Tier III and so can’t be foldered with the 1c & 4. If the US 5 was tier II people would complain.
It could easily be placed before the PBJs but then people will simply complain about having to research essentially the same aircraft twice for a marginal improvement of having the 2000lb bomb. Maybe the folder should really be 4 & 5 in tier III with the 1c rettured to it’s own box?
Or expect it to be an unloved future premium as a BTD alternative?
