Not over my dead body. Even if F/A-18A lose lots of features, it will still be drastically better than F-4J/S(USN) or F-4K/M(RAF/FAA)
F/A-18C itself in 12.7BR is in perfect sweetspot, but gets doomed awfully, by those compression problem.
F-15A in 12.7BR (which GOT BUFFED thanks to guys like you) gives a big middle finger to F/A-18C since those are armed with AIM-9M instead of AIM-9L which F/A-18C uses, and have quadruple countermeasures compared to USN F/A-18C (240 vs 60)
Su-27 on 13.0BR which uses R-27ER and R-73 are nightmare to F/A-18C but that is why it has higher BR than F/A-18C, and there is no reason that F/A-18C (Swiss) need to be same BR with those JUST FOR 60 EXTRA CM.
Su-30s in 13.3BR is infamous nightmare since those got upgraded with R-77.
AND YOU CAME UP WITH PINPOINTING SWISS F/A-18C FFS, WHILE IGNORING REAL BIG SHOTS, and completely dismissing the existence of CF-188A.

The F-18C Earliest have the best sparrow in the game, great radars for the br (their differences are completely marginal), great flight performance for the bracket.
Your rwr is good, your cockpit hud is good, you have a good missile count.
Hell, your cannon is mounted in the nose, makes it stupidly easy to aim.
You really don’t have anything to complain about besides facing Fox-3 carriers in uptiers. Which is an issue regarding compression, not the plane itself as it applies to the entire bracket
Just compare the F-18 to the MiG-29, your flight performance is significantly better, your missile kit is better (more radar missiles + better IR missiles)
Your radar is better, you have a functional rwr and better fuel consumption.

none of them is suffering from being underpowered, and they’re some of the best aircrafts at it’s BR thx to the amount of missiles and especially for the type of missiles they carry.
radar is still useable, not any difference from each other.
if u believe 60CM at 12.7 is bad then i recommend u not turn to see F-16A ADF with 45CM at 13.3.
the only one suffering is u, i haven’t seen a single person in the forums complaining about F/A-18C being bad in any way.
F-20 is kinda in a bad spot, F/A-18C isn’t.
if u want a Tornado IDS to face this thing i recommend u to play MiG-23MLD against this ugly beast with better RWR, better airframe, more missiles, and i would even say it has better missiles than the Flogger.
