Every gamemode is important, and it is NOT MORE IMPORTANT to have a more performant CAS than more air capabilities for ARB in general.
You are thinking like that you are GRB main.If we ignore the fact USA are generally being meta in ARB except the top ranks, then they will be meta forevermore unless powercreep comes up and crushes the former meta.
It also does not seem right in terms of balance.
Because people mainly play WT for GRB, not ARB. It’s very unlikely a dude only plays ARB for 1500 hours straight.

For me, WT is mainly GRB. Because GRB = ground + heli + jets + CAS. That’s why people rather play GRB than ARB solely.
Of course I’m always talking about GRB. I don’t even believe russian mains care about having the META in ARB tbh lol.
Yes, Russia probably has better cas than us in the top rank GRB
But it doesn’t mean we are less competitive.
If they have better CAS, then we’re less competitive in terms of CAS… it’s the definition of being + or - competitive

But people want to play top top tier. They grind years in order to play top top tier. All the cool new mecanisms and shiny stuff are at top top tier.
Pretty sure majority of player base rather player top top tier than anything else.
Plus there is the lore of the current wars going on. Is America better than Russia today ? Is it well represented in the game ? Or not ? Lots of people play top top tier to play their own country’s current army.

All the propaganda towards a certain nation is made in and for GRB, btw. They don’t really seem to care about ARB.

War Thunder was originally begun as an air game, so there is probably a playerbase who is more on ARB.
