My question is very simple.

Am I allowed to post my Twitch stream in game if I am trying to promote the growth of this game?

I am a smaller streamer that is trying to help create groups for people to play with and I am wondering if I can promote my stream in game?

I have seen quite alot of player do this. But idk if this is against TOS or not

I see players do this regularly in chat and even their screen names and squadron info. If Gaijin had a problem with it it would be explicitly forbidden in the TOS. But I doubt it, you promoting your channel, promotes WT (for free).

Well I got a message today saying that I have got a few reports because of random stuff but I’ve only ever posted my stream link in game.

I’ve had this account since closed beta over ten years ago and I rather not lose it so I will just wait and see if a mod can reply. I googled it and it gave me an answer so idk.

It’s not in the TOS to not post links and stuff?

I rather just not get banned for trying to stream XD. But I have seen a lot of people post their stream so idk.

Any official response from any mods or admins on this issue please?

I just want to make sure I am not breaking any rules here. I really like your game and have been since day one.

Or if there is another place I should ask this question please let me know

So would you think that posting my stream link would count as advertising?

I can go as far as stating that I am not trying to advertise my stream I’m simply posting a random link but idk if that would get me far.

I am just trying to grow as a streamer and get people together so we can come up with ideas for the game.

I am trying to use the forums more but idk you did to these forums they look god awful. The old forums looked like it had much more life and color to it. These new forums look all dead and gross tbh. Anyways I am just trying to be helpful sorry if I sound rude.

Don’t swear its a breach of are rules.

Doesn’t matter you aren’t to do that either as stated above.

You can stream the game on Twitch or where ever you stream the game and use the War Thunder tag there and you will have to use your own social media to promote yourself.

The forums and other Gaijin websites are not such places.

I know you might not like the outcome of your request but this are the rules please follow them.

what do we even report advertising in chat as? there’s no specific option for advertising, i’ve just been reporting it under foul language mostly

select other and just say advertising in the comment box
