In games like Rainbow 6, they have a reputation system that in my opinion works very well. Could also implement a feature where if someone were to report someone for chat related instances it gives them the option on the screen to blacklist after reporting, this way it would be easier for people to move on as most people don’t know what blacklist does. Back to a reputation system, people would be more likely to talk nicely in chat, if it rewards them too, and if they are negative in chat, it punishes them by removing some bonuses. for an example someone who has a good standing at the end of the month can get a booster of some sort, meanwhile someone in a bad standing can’t get research bonuses from matches. it’s just an idea.
