The AN/ALR-56C RWR is operational on F-15 aircraft and provides:
Expanded situational awareness for increased survivability. * Rapid detection of advanced threats in dense environments. * Detection and identification of modern search, acquisition, and tracking radars of ground- based or aircraft weapon systems. * Reliable threat warning for effective countermeasure response.
Integrated operation with jammer, countermeasures dispenser, and other avionics.
User programmability allowing system threat changes after delivery.
while its not explicitly stated, it is heavily implied that it informs the pilot, what, and where, they are being locked from
also gentlemen reminder this thread is about the rwr change on the dev server and not your personal beef, go bring that into DM’s and stop cluttering the discussion
you are aware this will cause all aircraft using these rwr to loose the ability to individually ID many aircraft and SPAA, which is both completely fake and stupid on a balancing standpoint right?
You mean aircraft whose BRs/weapons are so much lower that it doesn’t matter. Who cares if F-1C is unidentified?
SPAA which you should be playing as if you’re launched on at all times as ALL SPAA at top-BR have warningless launches.
@Matt_UFP
A pulse radar is NOT a pulse-doppler radar.
They are entirely separate radar systems.
A pulse radar is one like that of F-4C, it is not a pulse doppler radar.
A pulse doppler radar is not a pulse radar.
The difference between pulse and pulse doppler radars is easy to lookup.
Top BR aircraft do not use pulse radars, they use pulse doppler radars, and F-8U is NOT a top BR aircraft.
I will not stand for you including me in your inane ramblings sourced from your ridiculous fantasy world.
Cease at once. I want all NATO tech to be accurate. You defended the choices gaijin made that are ahistorical. You are not part of the consensus here. You are the outlier, defending gaijin’s ridiculous fantasy.
