Allow testing of locked TT vehicles on dev server

As the title says, I firmly believe that testing locked tech tree vehicles, as well as past event vehicles now unavailable in the base game should be allowed on the Dev server.

There is no grounded reason for keeping tech tree vehicles of unresearched nations under lock for Dev server which only becomes online for a few days before the update, at most 4-5 days in the span of 2 weeks and is a testing ground for vehicles or mechanics yet to be implemented.

I believe it is unfair at best, downright shortsighted at worst to keep TT vehicles locked for players to test on a dev server.

I understand the call for TT vehicles, but im not aware of any past event vehicle that cant be viewed in game with help of wiki.

Just threw that in there in case I missed anything.

But yeah, all in all, tech tree vehicles should not be locked on a dev server.

Soooooo, I could fly the JAS39A when I’m early rank 5 though dev server? If all TT are unlocked why bother with the 5x rp boost lol

I understand not wanting people who never touched high tier planes to “test” top tier jets.

Though i think that you should get access to whatever rank you have ground out to.

Ex: you have rank 5 planes so you get access to rank 1-5 planes in the dev server.

i think thats a good idea i guess.
if you unlocked rank VIII planes in any other nation you can test drive on the dev server in all other nations.
if your highest rank unlockes is Rank V for tanks you can also only play rank V tanks of the other nations on dev server

This is a great solution.
Dev server should be for testing purposes, so grinding stuff there makes very little sense. I bet plenty of people are discouraged to even touch dev server because of this issue.

I agree and I think there was a post created a few years ago stating basically the same thing.

Some parameters, such as Rank of planes/tanks, level, hours played, etc. should be the determining factor.

If say someone has spaded an entire nation tech tree, but hasn’t started a new nation, they should be allowed to test all nations to see if they would like the end result.
