The only plane from the Catalina family that can retract and deploy its wing pontoons is the PBY-5 but the PBY-5A and MK. 3A is unable to do so. Making maneuvering in the water nearly impossible since any turns or rough waves will tilt you to one side. Only their manual engine controls, will give you a change to unstuck yourself. It was possible to use the pontoons in real life. There should be a separate key for pontoons or have pontoons automatically deploy when lowering onto water where the speed wont rip them.
