the 9L does for me too. I just need to be at HALF the range to get one when its an F5. and it just takes one flare for them to be fine.
Gaijin really need to redo how the do thermal signatures its stupid how something like a harrier which was very cold will be white hot to missiles but something actually white hot is as cold as a prop plane
Looking at the manual again and comparing it to the heavy 2 seat trainer Harrier 1.
At 30,000 feet the Trainer Harrier with almost a full tank of gas has a similar STR to the F-5E when the F-5E is running with half a tank.
Hate to say it but this is skill issue, F-5 is very much touchable

A proper Harrier IE frs1 would absolutely clown on a realistically modeled F-5 as it did IRL.

The A10 is literally a tight turn fighter it’s the zero of jets.
If an F-5 player is trying to turn with you it’s bc he has no skill. Therefore it’s not even a proper mix up.
All I would have to do is extend away and easily flare your 9Ls and you would be finished.
I have Su-25BM too, that one can deal with F-5 (but tbf it has R-73)

compare taking them on to lets say a mig 21 mig 23 or harrier (there’s not really much else at that BR its pretty barren must say) you can lock everyone else much easier and seeing as the flight performances should be close to a mig 21 its strange how nippy it is at turning
I can BnZ A10 in the harrier just fine it’s very reliable.
You will not catch a .8-1 Mach plane with 30mm of he attacks and leaves from the correct angles.
